Compassionate Healthcare Professional in Training | UNC Chapel Hill
Driven by compassion, excellence, and a commitment to serving others
I am a highly motivated first-year student at UNC Chapel Hill on the Pre-Physician Assistant track, committed to building a career centered on patient care and healthcare leadership. My journey in healthcare began with hands-on experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and extensive volunteer work in clinical settings.
I graduated in the top 6% of my high school class with a perfect 4.0 unweighted GPA while simultaneously completing 21+ college credits through dual enrollment. My academic excellence is matched by my dedication to serviceโhaving logged over 225 volunteer hours in healthcare and community settings.
What drives me is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Through my clinical experiences at assisted living facilities and my CNA training, I've developed strong communication skills, empathy, and comfort in patient-care environments. These experiences have confirmed my passion for pursuing a career in medicine where I can combine scientific knowledge with compassionate care.

Building expertise through hands-on experience and service
Founded and operate a comprehensive home services business providing care and support to families in the Chapel Hill community. This entrepreneurial venture has developed my business acumen, time management, and client communication skills while maintaining flexibility for academic commitments.
Demonstrated resilience and adaptability by transitioning from player to team manager after experiencing a knee injury. Coordinated practice sessions, tracked game statistics, and maintained team morale. This role taught me that leadership isn't limited to being on the fieldโit's about supporting your team in any capacity possible and finding creative ways to contribute when faced with obstacles.
After learning about overcrowded local animal shelters during Animal Science classes, I organized a community-wide pet supply drive. Through dedicated outreach and community mobilization, successfully collected over 500 pounds of food and supplies (approximately $1,500 in donated value) for two local shelters, demonstrating initiative, project management, and commitment to addressing community needs.
